Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PHP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, continuously enhancing our existing applications with new features, and ensuring the stability and reliability of our digital platforms. This role requires a strong attention to detail, an inquisitive nature, and a passion for problem-solving. Job Details:

Eastwood Libis, Quezon City (Work on-site)
Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM (Manila Time)

*A year-end shutdown typically lasting 3-4 weeks starts a week before Christmas. During this time, you are expected to use your vacation leaves to compensate for the non-holiday workdays. We provide an extra 5 days of annual leave during this shutdown period once you are regularized.

Responsibilities:

Build and Maintain Dynamic Web Applications: Develop high-quality, clean, and maintainable code using PHP to construct robust, dynamic web applications. Ensure ongoing performance optimization, reliability, and scalability.
Add New Functions to Existing Applications: Continually enhance our web applications with new functionalities based on user requirements, feedback, or technology advancements. Work closely with the user experience and design teams to ensure a seamless, intuitive user journey.
Backup Completed Work: Regularly perform backups of your work to safeguard against data loss. Ensure the secure storage and organization of these backups, in compliance with company policy and regulations.
Proper Documentation of Code: Maintain meticulous documentation of all code and software modifications. This includes inline comments, user manuals, and technical guides to facilitate understanding, allow for troubleshooting, and support future development efforts.
Fix Bugs: Identify, troubleshoot, and rectify bugs and issues in existing web applications. Ensure the highest level of application performance, stability, and user experience always.
Generate Help Videos: Create comprehensive help videos to assist users in understanding our web applications. Utilize our video creation platform, ensuring videos are clear, concise, and user-friendly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of PHP and the CodeIgniter 4 framework.
Experience in API creation and management.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience with mobile application development for iOS and Android.
Knowledge of Ionic 3/4 frameworks.
Familiarity with Vue.js.
Experience with front-end technologies like jQuery/JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap.
Track record of creating well-designed, scalable applications.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
