Position Summary:
The IT Specialist will provide essential technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of IT systems. This role involves resolving common hardware, software, and network-related issues, maintaining logs of support requests, and delivering timely solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills to address a variety of IT challenges effectively.

  • Shifting Schedule – Possible schedules are as follows:
    • Morning shift: 7am-4pm
    • Mid Shift: 11am-8pm
    • GY Shift: 6pm-3am | 8pm-5am | 9pm-6am

Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic technical support and assistance to end-users.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Resolve common IT issues related to network connectivity, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Proxy.
  • Maintain logs of support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system.
  • Utilize remote desktop tools to assist users and resolve technical problems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT support requests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT-related field or a strong background in technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving network connectivity issues.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts, including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and Proxy.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
