The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, with a primary focus on API integration to enable seamless data exchange between various internal and external systems. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems and services to support business operations and application functionalities.
Design, implement, and optimize APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between different platforms and services.
Collaborate closely with frontend developers, software engineers, and system architects to ensure smooth integration of backend services with user-facing applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues, improving system reliability and performance.
Optimize backend processes for efficiency, scalability, and security.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for API protocols, endpoints, and development processes to ensure clarity and consistency across teams.
Implement best practices for API security, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development and API management.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a backend developer, with a strong background in API development and integration.
Expertise in designing and implementing REST and SOAP-based APIs.
Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Strong understanding of database management systems.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with API security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex backend and API-related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
