Position Summary:
The Tender Writer plays a key role within the national bid team, supporting the development and delivery of high-quality, client-focused proposals across sectors including government, critical infrastructure, aviation, security, and facilities management. Working on tenders ranging from $1M to $15M per annum, the Tender Writer collaborates with bid managers, subject matter experts, and operational leaders to articulate compelling value propositions and support growth agenda.

Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and proofread compelling and tailored bid content that clearly communicates the client’s value proposition.
- Collaborate with operational SMEs, P&L owners, and business leaders to gather technical input and ensure accuracy.
- Support the development and continual enhancement of the bid content library in Loopio and SharePoint.
- Ensure bid content aligns with client requirements, brand tone, and strategic messaging.
- Contribute to pitch decks and basic layout/design using PowerPoint or similar tools.
- Participate in formal debriefs and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- Support bid planning processes, including timelines, compliance checks, and content reviews.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in bid or proposal writing, preferably in B2B or government settings
- Demonstrated experience crafting structured, persuasive content
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interviewing skills
- Excellent grammar, formatting, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with bids in sectors such as government, aviation, or critical infrastructure
- Familiarity with public procurement processes
- Knowledge of basic document design principles
